Questions to Ask Before You Have New Flooring Installed

Q: Which type of flooring will best match my business type and needs?
A: You will need a different type of flooring for a coffee shop, for example, than you would for an office or a game room.

Q: How much am I able to spend on flooring?
A: It is important to have a clear idea of what you are looking for, and how much you can spend, before buying flooring for your business. You want to be “in- the- know” before going to the store.

Q: How often will the floor be walked on in a day?
A: How much foot traffic are you expecting over the course of one day, or each week? If you own a restaurant, you may want to use wood or something that can hide wear and tear really easily. A good rule of thumb is: the more expected foot traffic, the sturdier the flooring installed needs to be.
